我们计算了参数适用于明亮类鳄牛星的标准薄吸积盘的光谱和偏振。该模型在此之前的工作基础上改进，包括假设为 LTE 状况的紫外线金属线透射度。虽然尚不完全自洽，但我们的计算表明，金属线会改变光谱斜率，降低偏振程度，以及降低 Lyman 边缘特征在吸积盘光谱中的表现。某些鳄牛星光谱与吸积盘模型之间的观察差异可能通过加入金属线来调和。
