利用 2MASS 红移巡天与 IceCube 对邻近星系中微子发射的约束

摘要

本地宇宙中星系的分布具有各向异性特征。搜寻天体物理中微子产生源的天文台可利用这些特征,在中微子数据集与天空中星系分布过密区之间建立方向相关性。本文给出了利用 IceCube 中微子天文台的七年时间积分中微子数据集与 2MASS 红移巡天(2MRS)星表进行两次相关性搜寻的结果。第一项分析搜寻由弥漫星系际超高能宇宙射线(UHECRs)与星系内物质相互作用产生的中微子。第二项分析搜寻本地宇宙中的低光度源,其会在 IceCube 数据集中产生与星系分布方向相关的中微子亚阈值多重事件。两项分析均未观测到显著相关性。本文给出了对本地宇宙内通过弥漫星系际 UHECR 相互作用产生的中微子通量的约束,以及对低光度中微子标准烛光源密度的约束。
