摘要
我们指出，E.V. deMello 和 J. Ranninger 最近（Phys. Rev. B 55, 14872 (1997)）关于标准小极化子理论失效的结论，源于对双格点 Holstein 模型的电子与振动能级的不正确解释。正确应用的小极化子理论与这些作者的数值结果吻合良好。此外我们表明，他们试图将所计算关联函数的性质与格间电子跳跃的特征相联系的做法是不成功的。
