坍缩与喷流:星际形成综合理论的进展

摘要
过去十年的观测进展揭示,星际形成与重力坍缩气体、双枢流和盘状结构的共存密切相关。两种星际形成理论分别认为恒星质量是由引力不稳定性决定,或由喷流冲刷掉初始奇异密度分布的坍缩包裹层决定。但两种观点都未能解释所有事实。本稿考察了星际形成理论面临的关键问题。
