Boost-rotation对称时空是特殊的，因为它们是唯一精确描述经历非平凡运动（“均匀加速”）并伴有辐射的空间有界源（“点状”粒子、黑洞）的渐近平坦爱因斯坦方程解。我们构造了这些时空的牛顿极限：它给出了经典力学中均匀加速源的场。我们还研究了带电旋转C度规的特殊相对论极限，从而发现了加速电磁幻影场。
