热木星HD 209458b的CHEOPS几何反照率

摘要

我们报道了利用CHEOPS空间望远镜在光学/可见光波段探测到热木星HD 209458b的次食。我们测得的20.4 ± 3.3 ppm对应于几何反照率A_g = 0.096 ± 0.016。先前估算的约1500 K的昼侧温度意味着我们的几何反照率测量主要由反射星光组成,且基本不受热辐射污染。这使得当前结果成为任何系外行星最稳健的A_g测量之一。我们的带通积分几何反照率计算表明,测得的A_g值与无云大气一致,其中星光由氢分子通过瑞利散射反射,且水和钠的丰度与恒星金属丰度一致。我们预测带通积分的TESS几何反照率太暗而无法探测,并且若大气确实无云,CHEOPS观测到的HD 209458b相位曲线将具有与瑞利散射相关的独特形状。
