跨文化自然语言处理中的挑战与策略

摘要
自然语言处理（NLP）社区已做出多种努力以适应语言多样性，并为使用多种不同语言的用户提供服务。然而，重要的是要认识到，说话者及其产生和需要的内容不仅因语言而异，也因文化而异。尽管语言与文化紧密相连，但二者之间存在重要差异。类似于跨语言和多语言NLP，跨文化和多文化NLP考虑这些差异，以便更好地服务NLP系统的用户。我们提出了一个原则性框架来界定这些努力，并调研了现有及潜在的策略。
