Fomalhaut 采用 VLTI 校准观测

摘要
通过对 Fomalhaut 在广泛小时角范围内的观测，对欧洲南方天文台 Very Large Telescope Interferometer 的传递函数稳定性进行了调查。在 5-70 度的天顶角范围内，未发现传递函数的显著变化。观测期间的投影基线变化于 139.7 m 到 49.8 m。作为传递函数确定的组成部分，已建立 Fomalhaut 的一个新型精确 limb-darkened 角直径。这一结果导致对 Fomalhaut 辐射通量、有效温度、半径和亮度的改进值。
