LHC 上的提升对象与喷注子结构

摘要

本报告源自 BOOST2012 研讨会,呈现了四个工作组关于喷注子结构关键方面的研究结果。我们讨论了在第一性原理 QCD 计算中描述喷注子结构的潜力,并研究了最先进蒙特卡洛工具的准确性。评估了解析子结构能力的实验局限性,重点关注的额外质子 - 质子碰撞对未来 LHC 运行场景下喷注子结构性能的影响。最后一节总结了在寻找新物理(涉及提升顶夸克产生过程)中部署子结构分析期间所汲取的经验教训。
