BETA Pictoris：光度变化的证据

我们分析了从 1975 年至 1992 年在拉斯西拉由日内瓦天文台获得的 Beta Pictoris 光度测量数据。这些数据显示星体亮度存在变化，且无颜色依赖性。我们证明光度变化既存在于长时间尺度，也存在于短时间尺度。 在长时间尺度上，我们表明从 1979 年至 1982 年，Beta Pic 的 apparent 星等降低了 0.011 ± 0.004 mag。当考虑所有测量数据时，若不存在任何变化的可能性可被估计为小于 10E-4。在短时间尺度上观察到一种特殊特征，持续约 30 天；变化幅度可达 0.04 星等。对光度数据进行最大熵重构提出了一个暂行方案，并呈现了一些物理解释。
