BeppoSAX 对 BL Lac 型天体 Mkn 501 的观测：处于中间状态

1998 年 4 月至 5 月，BeppoSAX 探测器对 BL Lac 型天体 Mkn 501 进行了三次观测，同时配合 Whipple 和 HEGRA 喷气镜望远镜观测。X射线光谱在 70 keV 处被良好检出，且在所有观测时刻均表现为连续曲线，本文采用三个递增变陡的幂律模型拟合。以 νf_ν 表示时，光谱在约 20 keV 处达到峰值，解释为 synchrotron 辐射的峰值。这意味着 synchrotron 峰能量相较于 1997 年 4 月观测到的强 X 射线外爆降低了一个数量级。同时的 TeV 辐射强度相当于 Mkn 501 观测到的最小水平，这可能表明 inverse Compton 辐射的峰值也向更低能量移动。
