BeppoSAX 对 Markarian 501 的观测

我们报告了对 1999 年 6 月对 BL Lac 类天体 Mkn501 的一次长时间 BeppoSAX 观测的初步结果。该天体在 1997 年和 1998 年的 BeppoSAX 观测期间比当时更暗，但仍以较好的信噪比被检测到，最高可达约 40 keV。该天体在 0.1-40 keV 能谱通过同步辐射产生，光谱比以往年份更陡，显著呈弯曲，并在 nu*F_nu 中峰值位于约 0.5 keV。这一能量显著低于 1997 年和 1998 年同步成分出现的能量。一些日内变异性暗示该天体在小时间尺度上的活动伴随着亮度和光谱的大尺度长期变化。
