BeppoSAX对PKS 2155-304在活跃伽马射线状态下的观测

PKS 2155-304于1997年11月以33.5小时(总观测时间64 ksec)的观测时长被BeppoSAX进行观测，并首次同时以EGRET(坐落于Compton Gamma Ray Observatory)和基于地面 TeV 望远镜CANGAROO进行伽马射线观测，处于X射线波段高亮度阶段。LECS和MECS光曲显示明显的脉冲(最大最小值间为3.5倍)，且在最大强度时显示出谱系硬化。该源在12-100 keV波段被PDS弱探测到，无显著的变率证据。BeppoSAX获得的宽带X射线数据与伽马射线结果相比较并在均匀的自旋-自互作用模型框架内讨论。
