CALICE 高粒度硅-钨电磁量能器(SiW-ECAL)的技术原型于 2017 年在 DESY 的束流中进行了测试。该装置包含七层硅传感器。每层由四个传感器组成,每个传感器包含 256 个 mm 硅 PIN 二极管阵列。四个传感器覆盖总面积 cm,共包含 1024 个通道。读出分为触发线和电荷信号线。文中给出了两条输出线信噪比的关键性能结果,以及探测器响应均匀性的研究。还给出了探测器钨加载版本对电子响应的测量结果。
