核-核碰撞中长程关联与多重数涨落的贝叶斯方法

摘要

核-核碰撞中探测到的粒子数强烈依赖于碰撞的碰撞参数。因此,多重数涨落以及多重数的快度关联主要由碰撞参数涨落主导。我们提出了一种基于贝叶斯推断的方法,可稳健地重构固定碰撞参数下的涨落与关联。我们将该方法应用于ATLAS关于带电多重数与横能分布的实验数据。我们认为在大快度处的多重数涨落小于中心快度附近。我们提出了简单的新型分析,以确认这一效应。
