BATSE Gamma 射线暴线搜索：IV. 来自视觉搜索的线候选信号

摘要
我们评估了由BATSE光谱探测器对射电暴光谱进行视觉搜索所识别的线候选信号的显著性。没有哪些候选信号满足我们的检测标准：对于单个探测器中特征的F检验概率小于10^-4，并且来自观察该暴击的探测器之间的一致性。大多数候选信号并不很显著，可能是波动。由于期待发现吸收线，搜索偏向于吸收特征。这使得我们无法对搜索的完整性进行定量衡量，从而无法与以前的任务进行比较。因此，已经开始进行更客观的计算机化搜索。
