条形星系及其环境

摘要
本文利用帕洛尔天文台测绘的图像、星光分类及径向速度数据，将所有北半球萨普利-阿姆斯星系分配至 (1) 场域环境、(2) 星系团环境或 (3) 星系团环境。针对 930 颗星系的数据显示，条形频率与星系环境无显著相关性。这表明条形星系的形成主要取决于母星系的属性，而非其环境特征。
