亮星λ Ser拥有一颗最小质量为13.6 、轨道周期15.5天的热海王星。它似乎也是一个太阳类似星,平均自转周期25.8天,表面较差自转与太阳非常相似。我们旨在表征该系统的基元性质,并约束导致其当前构型的演化路径。我们在来自凌星系外行星巡天卫星(TESS)的时序测光中探测到类太阳振荡,并通过详细建模推导出精确的星震学性质。我们获取了新的光谱偏振数据,并用以重建大尺度磁场形态。我们重新分析了来自威尔逊山天文台的色球活动测量的完整时序,并给出了来自钱德拉和哈勃空间望远镜的新X射线与紫外观测。最后,我们利用更新的观测约束评估了该恒星的自转历史并估算了星风制动转矩。我们得出结论:目前恒星年龄的剩余不确定性阻碍了对λ Ser性质的无歧义解释,且其角动量损失率似乎高于具有相似罗斯比数的其他恒星。未来的星震学观测可能有助于提高恒星年龄的精度。
