观测红巨星群体地震学的若干方面

摘要
CoRoT 和 Kepler 空间任务为我们提供了大量红巨星样本，其中可探测到非径向类太阳振荡。这为进行群体地震学研究带来了令人兴奋的机会。本文简要概述了这两颗卫星的一些相关技术方面，列举并评论了与群体地震学相关的一些重要目标选择偏差，并论证了使用核密度估计作为直方图的替代方法来表征群体特征。
