来自相邻近似双星光谱中同时出现的吸收所推断的Lyman alpha“云”的巨大尺寸暗示这些是小过密 transient 扁平结构。我们认为所观测到的吸收体应优先位于宇宙的稀疏区域，并且通常比哈伯流速膨胀更快。
