赤铁矿（-FeO）是一种具有极低自旋阻尼和高 Néel 温度的反铁磁材料。在室温至 Néel 温度范围内，于 0.19–0.5 THz 频率区间表征了赤铁矿块体单晶中反铁磁共振的温度依赖性。由这些数据估计 Néel 温度为 966 K。
