FOOT实验测量$400\,\text{MeV/nucleon}$ $^{16}\text{O}$束流在石墨靶上的角微分和元素碎裂截面

摘要

本文介绍了在400MeV/nucleon400\,\text{MeV/nucleon} 16O^{16}\text{O}束流与石墨靶相互作用的碎裂过程中,向前产生的He、Li、Be、B、C和N核的角微分截面的测量结果。由于该能量范围内的可用数据有限,这些核碎裂截面的测量对于改进粒子治疗和空间辐射防护的核相互作用模型具有重要意义。本文分析的数据来自FOOT合作组在德国达姆施塔特GSI亥姆霍兹重离子研究中心进行的测量活动。结果与文献中的类似结果以及FOOT之前使用相同装置在GSI进行的预运行测量进行了比较。然而,预运行数据统计量有限,仅能测量装置接收度内积分的元素碎裂截面。本数据集统计量比前次运行数据大100倍以上,使得能够测量角微分截面,充分利用了FOOT ΔE\Delta \text{E}-TOF系统的粒度。此外,对FOOT装置的更好理解改进了分析技术,从而减少了最终的系统不确定度。
