D^0 衰变到 K^0_S π^0 π^0 的分析

摘要

我们展示了利用 CLEO-c 探测器在 √s = 3.77 GeV 处积累的 818 pb⁻¹ e⁺e⁻ 碰撞数据对 D^0 → K^0_S π^0 π^0 衰变进行达利兹图分析的结果。这对应于三百万对 D^0 D^0-bar 对,从中我们选出 1,259 个标记候选事例,本底为 (7.5 ± 0.9)%。我们探索了若干模型,所有模型均包含 K^*(892)、K^*_2(1430)、K^*(1680)、f_0(980) 和 σ(500)。我们发现,在我们首选拟合中,组合的 π^0 π^0 S 波贡献占总衰变率的 (28.9 ± 6.3 ± 3.1)%,而 D^0 → K^*(892)^0 π^0 贡献占 (65.6 ± 5.3 ± 2.5)%。利用三种标记模式并修正量子关联后,我们测得 D^0 → K^0_S π^0 π^0 的分支比为 (1.059 ± 0.038 ± 0.061)%。
