跨越行星质量与轨道周期之间引人注目的相关性

摘要
我们指出跨越行星质量与轨道周期之间存在一种引人注目的关系。对于目前已知的六颗穿越行星，数据与减小的线性关系相吻合。其他已知的短期行星，通过径向速度技术发现的似乎也与这一关系一致。我们简要推测一种暂定的物理模型以解释这种依赖性。
