摘要
本报告对第七届机器翻译会议（WMT22）的通用机器翻译任务进行了自动评测。其评测了面向 21 个翻译方向共计 185 个系统，包括从高资源到低资源语言对以及从密切关系到远距离语言。这一大规模自动评测凸显了当前最先进机器翻译系统的若干局限，也展示了自动指标（即 chrF、BLEU 和 COMET）如何相互补充，以缓解各自在可解释性与准确性方面的不足。
