偏振分束光栅耦合器的伴随优化

摘要
我们在绝缘体上硅（SOI）上设计了一种偏振分束光栅耦合器（PSGC），其在数值模拟中具有 1.2 dB 的峰值损耗，据我们所知，这是无底反射镜的 PSGC 的最佳模拟性能。基于伴随方法的形状优化使我们能够探索传统设计方法难以处理的复杂几何结构。从伴随优化中提取的基于物理的、与工艺无关的对 PSGC 的认知，可以以最小的代价迁移到其他平台。
