摘要
本讲义是为2018年于 l'École de Physique des Houches 举办的「活性物质与非平衡统计物理」暑期学校所准备。其综述了广泛生物体内的代谢活动，并考虑了在仿生活动水平下，因燃料、废物与热量的输运所导致的活性材料的尺寸限制。
