摘要

测量热区范围内随能量变化的中子俘获截面,需要精确知晓绝对中子通量。本文描述了一种利用钠的受控活化校准热中子束的新方法。该方法应用于洛斯阿拉莫斯中子科学中心的FP-14飞行时间中子束线,将束流校准至 $\pm5$ %的精度。
