keV惰性中微子暗物质白皮书

摘要

我们提出一篇关于keV尺度惰性中微子暗物质的全面综述,汇集了所有相关学科——宇宙学、天体物理学、核物理和粒子物理——的观点与见解,每一学科均从理论和实验/观测两个角度审视。在回顾了活性中微子在粒子物理、天体物理和宇宙学中的作用后,我们聚焦于暗物质谜题背景下的惰性中微子。在此,我们首先基于纯冷暗物质情形中的挑战与张力,回顾惰性中微子暗物质的物理动机。然后我们通过批判性地总结来自天体物理观测、实验室实验和理论思考的关于惰性中微子暗物质的所有已知限制,使讨论完备。在此背景下,我们对X射线观测可能给出的正信号提供了均衡的论述。本文另一重点关乎粒子物理模型的构建,旨在解释keV质量尺度的惰性中微子如何能在超出基本粒子物理标准模型的具体设定中出现。文章以对当前和未来天体物理与实验室搜寻的广泛综述结尾,突出新想法及其实验挑战,以及发现惰性中微子的未来前景。
