与超长伽马射线暴相关的一颗极高光度磁星驱动超新星

摘要
最近有人提出一类超长持续时间(>10,000 s)的伽马射线暴。它们可能起源于半径比正常长伽马射线暴大得多的恒星爆发,或恒星的潮汐瓦解。目前尚未有清晰超新星与超长伽马射线暴相关联。本文中我们报告一颗超新星(2011kl)与红移z=0.677的超长持续时间暴111209A相关。该超新星比与长伽马射线暴相关的Ic型超新星光度高3倍以上,且其光谱明显不同。其连续谱斜率类似于超亮超新星,但向静止帧紫外延伸更远,意味着低金属含量。其光变曲线演化比超亮超新星快得多。高光度与低金属线不透明度的组合无法用典型Ic型超新星调和,但可由一个模型重现:其中额外能量由强磁化中子星(磁星)注入,这也被提出作为超亮超新星的解释。
