基于TOSA/ROSA的高能物理实验用光发送器(MTx+)/收发器(MTRx+)

摘要
我们提出了一种用于高能物理实验前端读出电子学的双通道光发送器(MTx+)/收发器(MTRx+)。MTx+采用两个发送器光组件(Transmitter Optical Sub-Assemblies, TOSA),MTRx+采用一个TOSA和一个接收器光组件(Receiver Optical Sub-Assemblies, ROSA)。MTx+与MTRx+均采用标准Lucent连接器(LC)接收多模光纤作为光接口,并可通过标准增强型小型可插拔(Enhanced Small Form-factor Pluggable, SFP+)连接器作为电接口面板或板载安装至主板。MTx+和MTRx+采用一种称为LOCld65的双通道垂直腔面发射激光器(Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser, VCSEL)驱动ASIC,使每通道发送数据速率高达14 Gbps。MTx+和MTRx+已通过测试可在4.9 kGy(SiO2)剂量下存活。
