发现来自地下源的氩中39Ar含量显著低于大气氩,这是使用氩作为活性靶的直接探测暗物质实验发展的重要一步。我们报告了用于研究地下氩中39Ar含量的单相液氩靶低本底探测器的设计和运行。来自科罗拉多州科尔特斯Kinder Morgan CO2厂的地下氩被确定其39Ar活度低于大气氩的0.65%。
