(379) Huenna及其卫星的光谱比较

我们利用NASA IRTF上的SpeX仪器，展示了Themis族小行星(379) Huenna（直径约98公里）及其6公里卫星的近红外光谱测量结果。观测时，该伴星与主星的距离大于1.5角秒，且亮度约暗5个星等。我们描述了一种在伴星信号未完全与主星分离时，分离并提取其信号的方法。(379) Huenna的光谱在1微米附近有一个宽而浅的特征，且斜率较低，这是C型小行星的特征。次星的光谱与C型复合体或X型复合体的分类一致。数据质量不足以识别次星光谱中的任何细微特征。
