SMC 短周期头戴兰氏星的 PL 关系斜率变化

我们报告了来自 LMC 和 SMC 的 290 颗和 590 颗头戴兰氏星的 Period-Luminosity 关系。两个数据集分别使用 EROS 2 微型镜望远镜的两个大场 CCD 摄像机获得。我们观察到对于 SMC 基本模式头戴兰氏星，其周期短于 2 天时存在显著的斜率变化。已检验许多可能的实验偏差，但无法解释这一现象。我们也观察到 SMC 不同年龄星系（即不同周期）的头戴兰氏星之间存在不同的空间分布。讨论了解释斜率变化的各种可能性。
