八颗短周期II型造父变星的周期变化搜寻

在本研究中，我们调查了八颗BL Her亚型的短周期II型造父变星，即周期在1-4天范围内的恒星的周期变化。利用来自地基与空间巡天的所有合适观测数据，构建了这些恒星的图。时间跨度超过一个世纪，包括数字化照相底片以及文献中的测光数据。图显示出抛物线状的演化趋势，表明这八颗短周期恒星同时存在周期增大与减小的情况。这些周期变化与近期BL Her恒星的理论演化框架及恒星演化模型十分吻合。Lombard和Koen提出的脉动稳定性检验也表明这些周期变化是真实的。
