我们给出首个量子电路,用于比仅对函数进行单次经典求值更可靠地计算 OR 。因此 OR 与 XOR(即奇偶性,)共同构成了具有量子加速的完整逻辑联结词集合(直至输入输出重标号)。XOR 算法在量子计算中具有根本重要性;我们的 OR 算法(借助遗传编程发现)可能代表一种新的量子计算效应,亦可用作“子程序”。
