耦合量子链化合物KCuF3中的新颖纵模

摘要
报道了非弹性中子散射测量，其在自旋-1/2准一维反铁磁体KCuF3的反铁磁有序相中显示出一个新的纵模。该模标志着从一维到三维行为的跨越，并表明自旋-1/2反铁磁体的有序自旋矩有所减小。测量结果与最近的量子场论结果进行了比较，发现极为吻合。理论未预测的数据的一个特征是该模通过衰变过程到横向自旋波支而发生的阻尼。
