在本报告中，我们报道了为增加CHARA阵列上密歇根红外组合器-埃克塞特(MIRC-X)仪器的光谱范围以允许H和J双波段干涉观测所做的工作。我们评论了该项目背后的关键科学驱动因素以及仪器双折射与色散的表征和校正方法。此外，我们报道了2019年11月首次上天调试的结果。
