制造玻璃制造的毫开尔文原子力显微镜

摘要

毫开尔文原子力显微镜(mK-AFM)因在干燥稀释制冷箱中产生的强烈振动以及在毫开尔文温度下可用热量有限等实验挑战。一种可行方法是使系统异常刚性和热绝缘,以分离外部振动并隔离 piezo 元件的热散失。本文提出一种低成本且扫描范围大的 mK-AFM系统,可在 100 毫开尔文以下工作。我们系统地将 mK-AFM的关键部件,包括扫描器、针尖组件和显微镜本体,全部制作成採用熔融石英玻璃制造,充分利用了其高比模量、极低热膨胀系数和优异热绝缘性能。我们仔细权衡了扫描范围(25 μ{\mu}m ×\times 25 μ{\mu}m)、热散失与刚性,以在毫开尔文温度下实现最佳性能。
