顶夸克-底夸克质量层次的机制

摘要
我们讨论了一种在不对Yukawa耦合常数进行微调的情况下生成顶夸克和底夸克质量层次的机制。在两个Higgs二重模型(THDM)具有离散Z_2对称性的框架下，存在一种真空状态，仅使顶夸克获得约为electroweak对称性破缺尺度v(\simeq 246 GeV)的质量，而底夸克保持无质量。我们展示了一个在THDM截断尺度以上通过动力学产生小的软破破缺质量m_3^2 [\sim v^2/(4\pi)^2]的模型。m_3^2的出现为底夸克提供小质量，解释了m_b/m_t << 1的层次。
