利用大快度电子测量W玻色子质量

摘要
我们报告了基于1994-1995年费米实验室Tevatron对撞机上D0探测器记录的质心能量 TeV的p-pbar碰撞、积分亮度为82/pb的W玻色子质量测量。我们通过W玻色子衰变至e-nu来识别它们，其中电子在前向量热计中被探测到。我们通过拟合11089个W玻色子候选事件的横质量以及电子和中微子横动量谱来提取质量。我们测得Mw = 80.691 ± 0.227 GeV。将此测量与我们先前公布的1992-1993年和1994-1995年数据中的中心量热计结果相结合，我们得到Mw = 80.482 ± 0.091 GeV。
