展示了一个用于 EPR 设定中两个纠缠系统的模型可重现量子力学的结果与期望值。每个系统由包含嵌入场中的类点粒子的小球表示。量子态表现为若干可能粒子-场构型的等价类。与 Bell 型隐变量模型相反，场解释了测量的非对易方面并否认不相容物理量的同时实在性，从而得以避开 EPR 的“完备性或定域性”两难。
