我们通过将蓝色紧凑和不规则星系的多波段观测性质与进化人口合成模型的预测进行比较，分析了这些地区星形成事件的性质。该方法使我们能够约束年龄、星形成模式（瞬时或持续）以及初始质量函数斜率，以及星际遮蔽的形状和强度。
