天炉座完整 2dF 巡天

摘要
我们正在使用英澳望远镜上的 2dF 光谱仪，对天炉座团中心 12 平方度区域内所有 16.5 < B < 19.7 的 14000 个天体获取光谱。该项目的目标包括研究团中的矮星系（既有已知的低表面亮度天体，也有假设的正常表面亮度矮星系）以及背景场星系的比较样本。我们还将测量类星体、任何此前未被识别的致密星系以及大量银河系恒星。在此我们呈现前 680 个观测天体的初步结果，包括发现了一批比此前已知的任何矮星系都更致密的团内矮星系。
