短伽马暴余辉与 AT2017gfo 的比较:揭示千新星性质

随着千新星 AT2017gfo(与短伽马射线暴 GRB 170817A 相关的引力波源 GW170817 的光学对应体)的发现,多信使天文学获得巨大推动。AT2017gfo 是首个可在时间上被广泛进行测光与光谱监测的千新星。此前,仅有少数候选体在短 GRB 余辉的光芒中被观测到。在本工作中,我们旨在 39 个具有已知红移的短 GRB 的光学/NIR 光变曲线中搜寻 AT2017gfo 类千新星辐射的痕迹。我们的结果首次允许我们分别研究短 GRB 中 AT2017gfo 类千新星蓝、红两成分的光度范围。特别地,红成分光度与 AT2017gfo 相似,而蓝千新星可亮逾 10 倍。最后,我们找到进一步证据支持所有已宣称的千新星探测,并排除 GRB 050509B 与 061201 中存在 AT2017gfo 类千新星。
