Be 星的赫氏质子旋转速度

摘要
我们指出,Be 星属于主序星中单一 B 型星旋转速度分布的高速尾部。我们研究了 127 颗银河系场域 Be 星,并利用旋转的星演化模型求得其在原初主序星(ZAMS)时的真实赤道速度。存在一个明显的质量相关的 ZAMS 下限,低于该下限则不存在 Be 星。处于该下限以上的速度遵循高斯尾分布。ZAMS 旋转速度低于该下限的 B 星可能无法成为 Be 星。
