巨星系 UGC 11973 中的年轻恒星复合体

我们展示了针对晚型巨旋涡星系 UGC 11973 中年轻恒星复合体的测光与光谱观测分析结果。我们对 13 个最大的复合体进行了 UBVRI 波段的测光分析。利用光谱数据，对其中一个复合体评估了其周围气体的金属丰度 Z = 0.013±0.005、质量 M = (4.6±1.6)*10^6 Msun，以及恒星复合体的年龄 t = (2.0±1.1)*10^6 yr。结果表明，所有复合体均为质量庞大（M ≥ 1.7*10^5 Msun）、年龄小于 3*10^8 yr 的恒星群。
