X射线观测 NGC 1365:X射线源的时变 Eclipse 现象

摘要
我们报告了对遮蔽性强的类星体 NGC 1365 中 X 射线光谱的异常变化。该现象由 Chandra 观测得,X 射线光谱在四天内由厄米金-薄层态变为厄米金-厚层态,再恢复为厄米金-薄层态。这种快速变化表明发射区的尺寸约为 ~10^14 cm,而环核厚云的极小尺寸约为 ~10^16 cm。
