提出了一个模型，其中核子的软碰撞由其两个组分（一个夸克和一个双夸克）的相互作用来描述。当精确调节以描述弹性质子-质子散射数据，并辅以 wounded 组分的想法时，该模型相当好地解释了 RHIC 能量下中心快度区粒子产生的中心度依赖。
