摘要
遵循一个极有趣的早期想法\cite{R1}，利用相对论版本的Thomas-Fermi型模型，得到了强磁化中子星外壳层区域的功函数。在当前情景下，功函数呈现各向异性：纵向部分随磁场强度增大而增大，而横向部分则发散。还近似估计了来自极冠区的场致发射和光致发射电流在磁层中产生的电子密度。
